About The EDS Clinic

We provide provide medical evaluations for the diagnosis and on going treatment of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. In addition to EDS, we also provide care for hypermobility, MCAS, POTS, and other related conditions. Our doctors and allied medical providers have collectively had the privilege of evaluating, diagnosing, and treating over one thousand patients with EDS, and this number continues to grow every day.

We are deeply committed to serving the EDS community, and many of our team members have a personal connection to the conditions we treat. Each of us joined The EDS Clinic because we believe that EDS patients deserve better medical care. Some of us believe this so strongly that we have chosen to do this work without pay in order to keep costs down for patients. The vast majority of our providers joined the clinic with prior professional or personal experience with EDS. This blend of professional expertise and personal commitment allows us to offer truly empathetic, high-quality care.

The EDS Clinic is part of the Ehlers-Danlos Society's Centers of Excellence Program. This means that our clinic meets the highest standards of patient care and that we are committed to advancing the understanding and treatment of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders.

This experience was the most positive and productive appointment I have had with a specialist. The staff has excellent communication and getting an appointment was rather quick. I have been searching for a diagnosis for 12 years with no answers.

My endocrinologist thought I had EDS a year ago and I have doctor hopped and no one would offer a diagnosis, just run ton of tests and X-rays. I was frustrated because I wasn’t getting anywhere.

My appointment was with Dr. Ashley Stoecker. I felt heard and she gave me a few tips to help manage the worst of my symptoms. She will be communicating with my PCM to make sure I get this diagnosis in my chart and get the follow up care I need.

It was a really positive experience and I highly recommend the EDS Clinic.

If there's a treatment that I'm concerned about, or uncomfortable with, he doesn't passive aggressively remind me that I did not attend med school like any of my other physicians would. He listens, and treats me as though I might actually know what goes on with the body I live in.

Dr. James Harris is one of the few doctors to understand and treat autonomic autoimmune disorders. He has been so useful in my day to day ability to do normal stuff, like be out of bed. He deals with symptoms head on.
