Allison Healy
Medical Scribe
Allison works diligently to support both patients and providers in having a positive experience at The EDS Clinic. Allison recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, and she is currently taking a gap year before starting medical school in order to better understand the patient and provider perspective on managing chronic conditions within the healthcare system.
Although Allison has not struggled with POTS for some time, she has not forgotten the impact it had on her in the past. Allison's experience living with POTS opened her eyes to the unique physical and emotional difficulties that come with chronic illness. Her subsequent improvement under the care and guidance of compassionate medical providers inspired her to follow their footsteps in the medical field.
Allison is committed to building upon her unique experience by becoming a physician dedicated to serving patients with complex chronic disease. Through her work at The EDS Clinic, Allison hopes to serve the community in a meaningful capacity while also learning as much as possible about the management of these complex conditions.
