Gastroparesis
Gastroparesis is a condition where the stomach muscles don’t function properly, causing delayed gastric emptying without an identifiable blockage. This can lead to uncomfortable symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and early fullness after eating. The exact cause of gastroparesis is often unclear, but it may be related to nerve damage, particularly of the vagus nerve. Diagnosis often involves gastric emptying tests. Our team can work with you to develop a tailored management plan that may include dietary changes, medications, and, in some cases, procedures to improve stomach function.
