Mast Cell Activation Disease is group of conditions caused by the abnormal activation or behavior of mast cells. Given the wide variety of symptoms, the condition can be hard to recognize. A diagnosis requires that symptoms are present across at least 2 body systems and assessment of biomarkers like tryptase or prostaglandin.
